Braga District Archive (ADBRG) is a regional archive, with regional archive competences for the Braga district area, and a cultural unit of the Minho University (UM), member of the respective Cultural Council.

The Social History Archive (AHS) was created in 1979, as part of the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Lisbon.

The Center for Religious History Studies is a research unit of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP-CEHR). It began its activity in 1988, continuing the work developed by the Center for the Study of Ecclesiastical History, founded in 1956.
